Life is good in Austin, TX! The CD release party and post-party were an absolute ball. Thank you so much to those of you who came out. I have faced infinite new challenges recently, and in spite of all of the intense stress that comes along with this point in a career, everything is working itself out. I am so grateful to those of y’all who have already purchased the new album, and urge those who have not to visit one of the sites at the bottom of the page and pick a copy up, maybe even get some as Christmas gifts! : ) The band and I are working so hard, and it is so rewarding to be supported. Even buying a song off I-tunes is awesome. I am so grateful for the friendships and the opportunity in the present time! Thank y’all… off trailer shopping and then, Amarillo by Morning (Western Horseman tomorrow night). Now go get a copy of “A Damn Good Ride” so you can sing it with us next show.
New Album Out On September 22!

A New Outlook on Old-School Country!
It was April of 2007 when the story began. Armed with passion and a desire to create, Jeremy Steding headed west to Austin, TX with an unmastered, unreleased album in tow (“Whiskey Songs and Prison Songs.”) Jeremy brought with him a deep admiration for great Texas music and the intense desire to be an integral part of it. Unique and individual, Jeremy has quickly become a staple in the Texas Music Scene, and those who know him best, truly believe in his future.
“Auburn”, a single from Jeremy’s debut CD, was highly acclaimed, and one of the very few songs to spend a great deal of time on the Texas Music Chart without the aid of a professional radio promoter. The powers that be are taking notice, and Jeremy is now working with Smith Music, bringing the audience a damn good alternative to mainstream music. Steding is working hard, hitting the pavement and building a rock-solid foundation with his songwriting and musicianship.
“The Band of Bastards” accompany Jeremy during live performances. The musical talent shines through as does the unique friendship and commoraderie among them. “I am very blessed to be surrounded by great friends and outstanding musicians”, Jeremy states. Matt Winegardner, Todd Deatherage, Marc Curry and Nick Gardner combine to form a perfect platform for Steding’s creative lyrics. The band is geared up and ready to tour extensively to promote the release of the brand new album, – “A Damn Good Ride”, which will be released September 22, 2009.
